NGO for Women and Children

Baroda Citizens Council was initiated in 1966 by American Friend Service Committee (Quakers group from USA) with tripartite partnership of Federation of Gujarat Industries, Vadodara Municipal Corporation and The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. The council has established itself as a well recognized Community Development Organization, by acting as a support system which links people in need with various Government / Private services. The council works towards the empowerment of women, development of society and betterment of children by generating awareness about child rights and the importance of education.

Baroda Citizens Council has served the community since years, it is a team of determined people coming together for bringing a social change in Society. It is not easy to break the vicious cycle of poverty and make food and education available to every child in the community. But as a single drop of water fills the bucket; so do the small deeds of good. With clear a vision and mission to avail food and education available to every child of the community we are serving for years.

When supporting hands comes to us our innovative implementations are represented with projects like Balwadi, POCSO, Child Line, Pankhi. We customize the projects by matching the CSR requirements. We team our sponsors reporting them and serving every needful to them and making the basic human rights of protection, education, health care, participation and opportunities for livelihood accessible to the community people.
